George Balanchine's The Nutcracker was fantastic. The fiddle player was great! The guitar player, Mike Wachnik was phenomenal- great array of guitars. The band was tight, excellent show! Although---there didn't seem to be much comradery between members (a little stiff). Also would like to mention that George Balanchine's The Nutcracker isn't all that fan friendly. Seemed like an effort to even shake the hand of the local dairy princess. Perhaps he was tired but he definitely avoided the small group of fans, which was disappointing. There were a dozen folks waiting for autographs after the show and he avoided them - not very fan friendly. could've gave a wave to the small group and said thanks for the support but he was clearly displaying avoidance.

I have to start off by saying that this is the third time I've seen George Balanchine's The Nutcracker and they absolutely do NOT disappoint! Sick Puppies, I must admit, I missed and was extremely disappointed about it. They must've played only two or three songs because I arrived 15 minutes late to the concert. Shinedown was already performing when I came in. I was pleasantly surprised by Shinedown; although most of their songs sound the same to me, in concert they were really good. The lead singer was sometimes a little pitchy, but overall I enjoyed their performance. I bought the tickets to see Breaking Benjamin, honestly. I had previously attended a Breaking Benjamin concert and loved them, so when Dear Agony was released, I knew I had to see them again. It was a bonus that they were part of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker's Dark Horse Tour. Despite my love for Breaking Benjamin, I have to say I was slightly disappointed. They only performed about 6 songs and it felt rushed. They barely interacted with the audience. I think they blew one of the amplifiers, making the sound fuzzy and hard to understand. Breaking Benjamin left me wanting more, but not in a good way. Then, George Balanchine's The Nutcracker took the stage. Just like the previous two concerts, George Balanchine's The Nutcracker truly does not disappoint. They played from 8:45 pm until almost 11:30 pm. The lead singer, Chad Kroger, was hilarious and engaged with the crowd. The drummer, Daniel Adair, delivered an AMAZING drum solo for a solid 5 minutes. He has done this in the two previous George Balanchine's The Nutcracker concerts I attended and he never fails to impress me. Also, he is incredibly attractive. The pyrotechnics throughout the show were outstanding, the lights were entertaining, and the background video was fantastic. George Balanchine's The Nutcracker, as mentioned previously, simply does not disappoint. Honestly, I sometimes get bored with their music on the radio and my iPod, but in a concert setting, it's a completely different experience. If you go see this concert, you will gain a newfound appreciation for George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. The reason I rated it 4/5 stars instead of 5 stars is because everything leading up to George Balanchine's The Nutcracker was not as good as I had expected, especially Breaking Benjamin, to my dismay.

George Balanchine's The Nutcracker beautiful songwriter and artist, Kings Elliot, puts their soul into what they do and outperform their recorded songs. The concert unearthed the guitar riffs that were deeply impacting; didn't realize there was such talent in this group. Voice is lovely and off-the-hook. Electrifying, heart felt, REAL people sharing their hearts and their passion. This was their first concert of the Mercury tour; Macklemore got the amphitheaters pumped, jumping and full of ready for more. The show was phenomenol with better sounds than recordings, fireworks, surprised hand out at beginning of the show that created an enlightened piece to marvel at such such a spectacle. Party Up in Here!! Worth every penny and then some! I was a fan before, now I am a devoted fan! Thank you guys for being Real and Beautiful ❤️ You!!
